Melissa and Kevin Wedding

The couples I photograph are always great! Seriously, when I meet with couples for the first time, either we hit if off or not. My couples share with me the same desire "show the emotions and energy of the day". Melissa and Kevin fit the bill. Very easy going, always willing to share and a high energy which makes my job so much fun.

Sarah and Nils Wedding

Another Vermont outdoor wedding! Sarah and Nils had friends and family from all over the world come to Vermont to celebrate their special day. Another perfect day and dancing into the night under the stars. I shoot until the very end of receptions and the tent here just glowed with the lights and energy of the day.

Jen and Sam - A destination Wedding - Vermont

I love to travel to weddings. Seeing new places, new sites to discover with a fresh outlook. Jen and Sam selected the Castle Hill Resort in Vermont for their outdoor wedding and reception. Another great couple! The weather changed three times in about three hours, but during the ceremony and for most of the day we had perfect slightly overcast skies which provided perfect conditions for photography.

Daniella and Brian Wedding

Plenty of hugs, plenty of happy emotional tears made this wedding such a joy for me to photograph. We did an engagement shoot earlier in the year, so I knew this couple would be great. I love to shoot with long lenses to quietly capture the emotions from a non intrusive distance. The examples here reflect that approach.

Heather and Jason Wedding

Heather and Jason couldn't stop smiling all day. What a fun couple. The location was in Saratoga at the National Museum of Dance.

Good Samaritan Health Care Center Calendar

I had the pleasure of working on a fund raising project for a nursing home here in Delmar, NY. I took photos of over 20 patients at the Good Samaritan Health Care Center to be used in a 2007 calendar. I was happy to donate my photography and design services for this very worthwhile project, we had a blast shooting and chatting with all the wonderful people involved. Here are a few of my subjects. You can purchase copies of the calendar at the nursing home.

A destination Wedding - Paula and Jon

A private camp in the Adirondack Mountains in Northern Upstate New York was the setting for Paula and Jon's wedding. Guests enjoyed the waterfront ceremony and this amazing couple even treated everyone to a midnight bonfire right on the beach!

Jennifer and Joseph

Saratoga Springs and the Museum of Dance was the setting for this warm and wonderful couple, Jennifer and Joseph had a beautiful wedding.

Anna and Aaron

The ceremony for this great couple was on the campus of Union College (where they were students) at the Union College Chapel. Fun was had by all, a great day!

A few new engagement sessions

Here are several new engagement sessions with some really nice couples!

Vincent Popolizio 1913-2006

Vincent Popolizio was an artist, educator, wonderful loving husband and father of my wife JoAna. He passed away recently and I wanted to share with you the self portrait you see beside this post. He painted in his late eighties and was during his lifetime a graduate of Yale, an art teacher and during most of his professional life, the Bureau Chief for Art Education in New York State.

I will remember Vinny as an artist, an avid tennis player, a mentor (I was also an art teacher and fine arts painter), and the man who gave me his daughter's hand in marriage.

DANCE, DANCE, DANCE!!!!

You nervously prepare for your day. Your emotions run high during the ceremony. The formal portraits have been taken. Now let's dance!! When I photograph your wedding you have me for the entire day. The ENTIRE reception as well. The dance floor is where the action is... and I love it!

I follow the couple as they hold each other tight during their first dance. I capture the emotions during the parent dances. And when you and your guests go wild on the dance floor, I go wild with my cameras. I shoot low, I climb high, I do time exposures, I do whatever it takes to capture the excitement on the dance floor.

So go crazy, don't hold anything back. Brides make sure your possibly shy groom wiggles and shakes along with you, you will appreciate it later as you view your dance images!
